Abstract :
SUBANDRIO AMIN MULYA, Effect of Provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer
and Potassium Fertilizer on Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum
L.) (Supervised by MINWAL and NURBAITI AMIR).
This research has been carried out on farmers' land in Jl. Sukarela RT
12, RW 04 Kelurahan taman bunga, KM 7, Palembang City, South Sumatra
Province. The study period is from May to July 2019. This study used factorial
randomized block design (RBD) with 9 treatment combinations that were repeated
3 times. As for the treatment factor, Factor I test the dose of Liquid Orgaik
Fertilizer C1 = 6 ml / l water, C2 = 8 ml / l water, C3 = 12 ml / l water. Factor II,
namely Potassium fertilizer consists of three treatments, namely: K1 = 50 kg KCl
/ ha (10 g / plot), K2 = 75 kg KCl / ha (15 g / plot), K3 = 100 kg KCl / ha (20 g /
ha plot). The observed variables were 1. Plant height (cm) 2. Number of leaves
(strands) 3. Number of tillers per clump 4. Weight of tubers per clump (g) 5.
Number of tubers per clump 6. Weight of tubers per plot (kg). The results showed
that the best dose of liquid organic fertilizer was C2 = 8 ml / l of water with the
highest production of 1.83 kg / plot or equivalent to 7.32 tons / ha and Potassium
fertilizer with a dose of K1 = 50 kg / ha ( 10 g / plot) produced the highest
production of 1.93 kg / plot or equivalent to 7.72 tons / ha, while the interaction
between liquid organic fertilizer and potassium fertilizer produced the highest
production of 2.05 kg / plot equivalent to 8.20 tons /Ha.
