Abstract :
ABSTRACT Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) is an innovative concrete that can compress itself (without a vibrator), and is able to flow with its own weight to fill the formwork saturated without experiencing segregation. Material from SCC is not much different from normal concrete, which is coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement, water, only in SCC there is an admixture added material in the form of superplasticizer. This study uses a modified ACI method mix design with added material in the form of Viscocrete 3115-N from concrete. Test specimens are carried out when fresh concrete is tested using a slump, while hard concrete will be tested in 3, 7, 14, 21, 28 days. From all test results when the concrete is fresh or the compressive strength of SCC with the addition of Viscocrete 3115-N 3%, it meets the requirements set by SCC. In this study, the average compressive strength of SCC was obtained with the addition of Viscocrete 3115-N 3%, 243.27 kg/cm² at 3 days, 350 kg/cm² at 7 days, 495.64 kg/cm² at 14 days, 574.33 kg/cm² at 21 days old, and 627.1 kg/cm² at 28 days old. The proportion of SCC concrete, namely cement, sand, gravel and water can be obtained using the modified ACI method but with a coarse aggregate of a maximum size of 20 mm. Keywords : Self Compacting Concrete, Compressive Strength Of Concrete.
