Abstract :
Floods that occurred on Jalan Ki Anwar Mangku Sriraya 3 Palembang corridor in the past few years into floods that often occur when heavy rains hit the area. Drainage that can be seen is no longer able to withstand the amount of water that is received, resulting in overflow of water from the channel in the area. Flood mitigation can be done by knowing the factors that cause floods, including: the intensity of the rain is quite large, the condition of the channel is not large enough and the number of sedimentation piles that clog the channel. From the results of the channel analysis to cope with flooding on Jalan Ki Anwar Mangku Sriraya 3 Palembang corridor, it is known that it no longer accommodates high rain discharges due to sediment buildup, so to overcome this it is necessary to normalize it by dredging sedimentation and existing garbage.
