Abstract :
Drainage is one of the basic facilities design as water disposal system to meet the needs of the society and it is the most important component of urban planning. Drainage means to drain, remove, dispose or drain. Flooded which happened in Kelapa Kuning I alley Bukit Sangkal village Kalidoni district Palembang is a flood caused by high bulk prolonged rainfall with long enough duration of the building over the drainage canal and unsustainable canal to hold the water in quantity because of sedimentation, thus that water overflowed and lead to residents? settlement nearby. The data collected is data relating to the problem of both primary and secondary data. Collecting the data used methods with direct observation in the field is intended to know the eksisting canals, interviews with local people, gathering the theory of literature and supporting data from the agencies. Based on the results of the existing canal discharge analysis in Kelapa Kuning alley 1that there is a maximum discharge sediment that canals Secondary I and Secondary II is worthy, and Secondary III canal and Primary are not worthy.The result of debit analysis of discharge sendimentary canals maximum that Secondary I, Secondary II, Secondary III canals and Primer, all canals are worthy. A canal that cannot accommodate the maximum discharge due to sediment at the base of the canals.
