Abstract :
ABSTRACT Parking is a condition of not moving a vehicle that is temporary because it was abandoned by the driver. Parking space requirements for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are very important because these needs are very different and vary depending on the shape and characteristics of each vehicle and the location of the parking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the capacity and needs of parking spaces in Dr. General Hospital Sobirin Kab. Musi Rawas. Research conducted in the form of field surveys by recording the time of vehicles entering and exiting the parking location to see the volume of parking, parking accumulation, parking turnover rate, average duration of vehicle parking, and the value of the parking index per day. The observations were made on Monday 02 December 2019 until Sunday 08 December 2019. Based on the calculation, the highest accumulation of parking on four-wheeled vehicles is 45 vehicles that occurred at 11:00 to 11:59 and 13:00 to 13:59 WIB with a 103.6% parking index, this shows that the four-wheeled parking space (SRP) cannot accommodate vehicles who will park so there is a need for additional parking lots, and improve the circulation of vehicles entering and leaving the parking location.
