Abstract :
This research is intend to examine empirically about the ralation of self-concept with juvenile delinquency to juvenile convicts in LPKA Class 1 Tanjung Gusta Medan. Hypothesis that proposed in this research is, there is a negative relationship between self-concept with juvenile delinquency on prisoners, with the assumption that the higher the self-concept to be own the lower the juvenile delinquency will be show, otherwise the lower the self-concept to be own, the higher the juvenile delinquency will be show. Data collection methods in this research using two scales that consist of self-concept scale and juvenile delinquency scale. This research was done at Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Class I Tanjung Gusta Medan with total population of 284 people and the number of samples taken as many as 50 prisoners. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique.
