Abstract :
Kuala Madu PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II Sugar Factory began operations in 1984 with a production capacity of 4,000 tonnes of cane (TCD). The main production plant is sugar SHS. The main raw material is derived from sugar cane plantations Kwala Madu, Kwala Binge, Tandem hilir, Tandem Bulu Cina, Plumpang, and intensive community plantations.
In accordance with the title of this paper that is Analysis of Production Capacity in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II North Sumatera. Problem often encountered is the lack of production capacity satisfy the amount due to meet the amount of production number fluctuate from period to period. This will affect the production capacity needs to be provided to solve this problem then performed using the method RCCP.
Much excess production capacity of the required capacity. Due to excess capacity available lead to the need for additional acreage and yields that excess capacity can be maximized.
From the calculation using the method RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) then obtained capacity available each year to manage is 7272 hours. Yields / milled sugarcane production for 2014 was 1.562.725 tons. Excess capacity for 2014 amounted to 1744.889 hours.
