ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the effect of education on the dangers of early marriage on the
knowledge and attitudes of adolescents at the Tilongkabila health center. The research was
conducted using quantitative methods. The sample was taken using non-probability sampling with a
sample size of 30 young brides and grooms. Data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale
and hypothesis testing used the Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results of the research show that the
knowledge and attitudes of teenagers about health counseling before the Knowledge and attitudes of
teenagers about health counseling before education on the dangers of early marriage at the
Tilongkabila Community Health Center is mostly lacking. In terms of attitudes, the majority showed
negative attitudes. The proportion of teenagers with good knowledge increased while the proportion
of teenagers with positive attitudes increased. Based on the results of the p-value test, it is 0.002
(p<0.05) and the attitude p-value is 0.000 (p<0.05). So it can be concluded that there is an influence
of education on the dangers of early marriage on the knowledge and attitudes of teenagers at the
Tilongkabila health center.
