Abstract :
What is the meaning of the command style in Surah Yunus? The research method that the researcher used in this research was descriptive, and in general the research method that the researcher used was the library method. There are two types of data sources examined in this research, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Surah Yunus consists of 109 verses, so in this research the researchers found research results, namely the imperative method in Surah Yunus, in the form of imperative verbs totaling fifty-one words, and in the form of present tense verbs, with verbal nouns that are imperative, one word, and for nouns in the form of imperative verbs, one word. There are thirty-three words in the letter of Jonah in the true sense of command. Commands in a figurative sense in Surah Yunus have nine meanings, namely instructions, request, specification, choice, request, insult, consideration, honor and humiliation.
