Abstract :
Early initiation of breastfeeding is a simple intervention that can significantly improve neonatal outcomes, namely reducing the risk of neonatal death, greatly helping in the continuation of exclusive breastfeeding and a long period of breastfeeding. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method, sampling technique using non-probability sampling with a total of 30 samples. The type used is purposive sampling, which is a technique for determining samples based on certain considerations or criteria The population were women giving birth by caesarean section, the research took place from August to September 2023 at RSIA Sitti Khadijah, Gorontalo City. From the research results, it was found that 73.3% did EIB correctly. Based on the research results, it was concluded that RSIA Sitti Khadijah hospital, Gorontalo City had carried out Early initiation of breastfeeding correctly.
