Abstract :
This research was conducted at one of the high schools in North Gorontalo Regency. The aim ofthe research is to determine the effect of giving tempe on Hb levels in young women at SMANegeri 4 Gorontalo Utara. The research method used was a non-equivalent quasi-experimentwith a quantitative approach and a pretest-posttest with control group design. The sample was32 young women. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Research Results Based onthe Wilcoxon test, the p-value is 0.000 (0.05), indicating there is a significant difference inthe consumption of tempeh nuggets on the HB levels of adolescents in the intervention group, pvalue0.321>?(0.05)inthecontrolgroup,indicatingTherewasnosignificantdifferenceinpreandpostHB levels in the control group. There was a significant effect of consuming tempehnuggets on increasing HB levels in adolescents, where a p-value of 0.001 (0.05) wasobtained. The conclusion is that there is an effect of giving tempeh on HB levels in youngwomen.
