Abstract :
Family planning is one of the important things in improving maternal and child health. The use of birth controlcontraceptives can reduce maternal mortality rates by 32% and child mortality rates by 10% in the world. This researchaims to determine the influence of factors that influence the use of MKJP in the work area of the Central SuwawaCommunity Health Center. This research uses an analytical observational method with a cross sectional approach. The sample used by total sampling was 28 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire sheet and data analysisused chi square test analysis with a significance level of 95% (?=0.05). The age factor obtained a value of p = 0.029and a statistical test using the 95% CI value was 10.7. The parity factor obtained a value of p = 0.046 and a statisticaltest using a 95% CI value of 7.125. The education factor obtained a value of p = 0.046 and a statistical test using a95% CI value of 8,000. The work factor obtained a value of p = 0.078 and a statistical test via a 95% CI value of 8.The knowledge factor obtained a value of p = 0.008 and a statistical test via a 95% CI value of 15.00. The husband'ssupport factor obtained a value of p = 0.023 and a statistical test using a 95% CI value of 8.000 and support fromhealth workers obtained a value of p = 0.023 and a statistical test using a 95% CI value of 8.00. The conclusion is thatthere is a relationship between age, parity, education, knowledge, husband's support and support from health workerswith the use of MKJP. There is no relationship between work and the use of MKJP at the Central Suwawa HealthCenter. This research was conducted to see how much general knowledge contraception participants had about MKJP.
