Abstract :
Hemoglobin is a protein rich in iron which has an affinity or combining power for O2 (Oxygen),oxygen itself will make Oxihemoglobin in blood cells. The effects of Hb deficiency includefrequent dizziness, dizzy eyes, rapid breathing or shortness of breath, paleness. For this reason,iron intake is necessary to increase hemoglobin levels through drinking green bean juice. Thisstudy aims to determine the effect of giving green bean juice on changes in hemoglobin levels inpreconception mothers at the Telaga Biru Health Center. This research uses a pre-experimentaldesign with a one group pre-post test design. The sample used was purposive sampling with asample size of 26 respondents. Data collection used observation sheets and data analysis usingindependent sample T test analysis with a significance level of 95% (?=0.05), obtained a pvalue = 0.013 and statistical tests using a 95% CI value of 10.9, which means that giving greenbean juice has a 10.20 chance greater to increase hemoglobin levels. So it can be concludedthat there is an effect of giving green bean juice on changes in hemoglobin levels inpreconception mothers. This research was conducted to help preconception mothers in dealingwith pregnancy and to increase knowledge about Hb
