Abstract :
Nowadays, the internet has become primary in the digital era like today. The need for fast information makes the internet very important, this need must be supported by an internet which is always available and stable. The availability of stable and good internet at the Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo is really needed by staff, lecturers and students for the teaching and learning process, as well as other academic activities. This research aims to analyze the internet network at the Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo using Quality of Service (QOS) parameters to determine the quality and performance capabilities of the existing network. Testing uses Wireshark software to obtain throughput, delay, jitter and packet loss parameter values. The results showed the quality of the internet network at Muhammadiyah University is in the good category. With a throughput value = 228,866 bit/s with an index value of 4, delay = 51,736 ms with an index value of 4, jitter = 1,026 ms with an index value of 3 and packet loss = 9% with an index value of 3.
