Abstract :
Background Nutritional disorders in pregnant women are a problem that needs to be taken seriously. Pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency can have an impact on the prevalence of anemia, maternal mortality, infant mortality, and LBW. Several factors influence KEK, including nutritional adequacy and the level of stress experienced during pregnancy. The research aimed to determine nutritional adequacy and stress levels in pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency. It used a quantitative design, an analytical survey, and a cross-sectional approach. The population was 54 pregnant women, and the number of samples was the same as the population or total sampling of 54 pregnant women. The results showed that univariate analysis showed most pregnant women?s nutritional adequacy was average, as many as 26 people (48.1%), while the stress level experienced by most pregnant women was moderate, as many as 34 people (63.0%). Data analysis using the correlation test with the results showed that the variable nutritional adequacy with KEK had a correlation coefficient value of 0.844 and a Vpalue=0.000<0.05, variable stress with KEK had a correlation coefficient value of 0.592 and a Vpalue=0.000<0.05. This study concludes a significant relationship between nutritional adequacy and stress in women with KEK. The results can add information for pregnant women to continue to regulate nutritional intake thus dietary needs during pregnancy are met and not be too stressed so as not to disturb the health of the mother and the baby in the womb.
