Abstract :
This research aims to analyze the influence of family social support, career adaptability,and work motivation on lecturers performance at the Faculty of Social Sciences,Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The method used quatitative method with pathtechnique analysis to test the relationship between research variables, the use of amoderator on the Work Motivation variable. The population includes all lecturers of theFaculty of Social Sciences, with a sample of 60 lecturers selected through purposivesampling. The results indicate that family social support, career adaptability, and workmotivation do not have a significant effect on lecturer performance. The coefficient valuefor family social support is p=0.12, for career adaptability is p=0.22, and for workmotivation as a moderator variable is p=0.18. Thus, it can be concluded that there is nosignificant effect between the variables of family social support, career adaptability, andwork motivation on lecturer performance. This study suggests that although these variablesare theoretically important, other factors may be more dominant in influencing lecturerperformance in the studied environment.
