Abstract :
Prevention of Covid-19 transmission is carried out by vaccination, especially in adolescents as the target group for vaccination, but there are still teenagers who have not vaccinated for various reasons, namely maternal knowledge and attitudes towards Covid-19 vaccination. The objective of research was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge and attitudes about receiving vaccinations in adolescents in the East Popayato Health Center Work Area. The research design is cross sectional study. The population of mothers of adolescent children is 525 people. The sample were to 84 mothers with purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Statistical test using chi-square test. The results obtained there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers about receiving vaccinations in adolescents with p-value = 0.000. Thus, mothers can provide support and information for adolescents to vaccinate because adolescents as a social group who interact a lot with their peers are at risk of contracting Covid-19.
