Abstract :
Revolutionary changes in the transmission and experience of learning have been introduced by the swift advancement of technology, which has drastically altered the educational landscape. Technology has become a crucial component of modern educational systems, from the early deployment of personal computers in classrooms to the extensive usage of online learning environments. Google Forms is a free online tool that lets users make and distribute forms for a variety of uses. Important questions concerning Google Forms' usefulness and simplicity of use in an educational setting are brought up by using it as an assessment tool. The use of this technology by educators and students is growing, but its advantages and disadvantages must be carefully considered. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Google Forms as a learning assessment tool, specifically for English language learners. This research uses a mixed methodology that blends qualitative and quantitative techniques data were gathered via questionnaires, recordings, interviews, and observation. According to research findings, Google Forms has a number of benefits, including simplicity of use, automated data collecting and analysis, and the capacity to deliver immediate feedback. More efficiency and fairness in the evaluation process are also facilitated by features like automatic grading and question randomization. Constraints including reliance on a steady internet connection and feature limits for particular inquiry kinds are also noted in this study. Based on the study's overall findings, Google Forms is a useful and efficient assessment tool that may be enhanced with better technical infrastructure and teacher training. For educators and academics looking to incorporate technology into the educational evaluation process, this study offers insightful information.
