Abstract :
ABSTRACT
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis.This study aims to determine patterns of use of OAT and evaluate the suitability of the use of OAT based on the 2014 National Tuberculosis Control Guidelines from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and know the relationship between treatment outcomes with sex, age, duration of treatment and the number of chronic comorbidities. This research is a non-experimental research with descriptive analytic research. Data collection was done retrospectively on the recording of patient medical records and tuberculosis disease register forms. The results showed that 100% of patients at the puskesmas were given KDT type OAT (fixed-dose combination), the results obtained for category 1 treatment alloys met 100% and category 2 met 100%, for indications and doses reached 100% compliance.Based on the analysis of the relationship between age, duration of treatment, and the number of chronic comorbidities to the patient's treatment outcomesthe results obtained are that of gender is (p=0.060 ; p<0.05), age (p=0,000; p<0,05), duration of treatment (p=0,000; p <0,05) and and the number of chronic comorbidities to the patient's treatment outcomes (p=0,000; p <0,05), between x1, x2, x3all three have a significant or significant relationship with the patient's treatment outcomes. The result for the sexis (p = 0.060; p> 0.05), so it does not have a significant relationship with the patient's treatment results.
