Abstract :
This study aims to increase the ability of overhead passing through the group learning model at the fifth grade of Elementary school number 360 pintoe. The classroom action research was conducted in two meetings in cycle I and cycle II and was designed through four stages, which are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research data covers 3 domains; psychomotor, affective, and cognitive. Subjects and sources of research data are the fifth grade students of Elementary school number 360 Pintoewith 23students; 13 boys and 10 girls. The data of this study were the ability in performing overhead passing in volleyball using a plastic ball for the fifth grade students of Elementary school number 360 Pintoe, Bajo sub-district, Luwu district in groups. The results shows that the group learning model could improve the ability in performing overhead passing using the plastic volleyball for the fifth grade students of Elementary school number 360 Pintoe. There is a significant improvement in the ability of overhead passing in volleyball through the learning model of tool modification and group models at the fifth grade ofElementary school number 360 Pintoe, in cycle I There are 17 students with a percentage of 74% completion and the number of students who completed in cycle II are 22 students with a percentage of 96% completion. The results of the study concluded that Physical Education, Sports and Health learning through group learning models could improve their overhead passing skills in volleyball through group learning models at the fifth grade ofElementary school number 360 Pintoe students.
