Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to find the influence of the independent variables, namely Competence (X1) and Training (X2) on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance at PT Bank Mandiri Branch Office Palopo City (Y). This research design uses a comparative causal research type. This type of comparative causation research uses ex post facto research methods. This type of research is quantitative research. Data analysis by calculating normality test, homogeneity and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the calculated F value was greater than the F table value, so that the competency (X1) and training (X2) variables were concluded simultaneously to have a significant effect on the employee performance variable (Y). This conclusion proves that the first hypothesis has been proven correct. Meanwhile, testing the effect of independent variables partially on the dependent variable used the t test. The independent variable which partially has a significant effect on the dependent variable will have a t value that is greater than the t table. This proves that the first hypothesis is proven correct. Training (X2) is partially stated to have an effect on the Employee Performance variable (Y) because it has a t value that is greater than the t table. Therefore this research proves that the second hypothesis is proven to be true.
