Abstract :
This study aim to determine the effect of career development and motivation on the performance of PT. Asera Tirta Posidonia Palopo. The data used are primary data, data collection method usinga questionnaire survey to 65 employees at PT. Asera Tirta Posidonia Palopo. The analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis, after the data is processed using the SPSS (Statistics product and survey salution) application version 22. The results of this study through the career develooment t test (X1) have no positive and significant effect on employee performance which is indicated by hypothesis testing based on t count 1.260 < t table 1.998972 with a significant effect on employee performance with a t value of 0.212 > 0.05, motivation (X2) has a positive anf significant effect on employee performance with a value of t count 4.081 > t table 1.998972 with a significant value 0.000 < 0.05. the resuts of the f-test of the independent career development variables (X1) and motivation (X2) simultaneously affect the dependent variable of employee performance (Y) showing the results of statistical calculations F arithmetic > F table 19.384 > 3.14525 wuth a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the influence of career development and motivation has an effect of 36,5% while the remaining 63.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
