Abstract :
This study aims to find out how the application of flash cards can improve children's early reading skills in group B children in Faturrahman Bolong Kindergarten.
This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were the children of group B of Faturrahman Bolong Kindergarten, totaling 20 children. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and documentation techniques. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle lasted three meetings. The results showed that the application of the use of flash card media can improve the initial ability of children in group B in Faturrahman Bolong Kindergarten.
The results of observations before the action showed a percentage of 53.75%, in the first cycle it increased to 69.17% and in the second cycle the success indicator was 81.25%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of flash card media can improve the initial ability of children in group B in Faturrahman Bolong Kindergarten.
