Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment partially or simultaneously on the performance of employees at PT. Makassar Raya Motor Palopo. Data were obtained by distributing research questionnaires to 34 respondents who were employees at PT. Makassar Raya Motor Palopo. The collected data was then analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method using the SPSS program. The results of the study show that for the reward variable, the t-count value is 2.259, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.032 and a significance of 0.017 is smaller than 0.05 which indicates that the reward partially affects the performance of employees at PT. Makassar Raya Motor Palopo. For the punishment variable, the t-count value of 3.727 is greater than the t-table which is 2.032 and a significance of 0.001 is smaller than 0.05 which indicates that punishment partially affects the performance of employees at PT. Makassar Raya Motor Palopo. Meanwhile, simultaneously obtained the calculated F value of 10.412 which is greater than the F table value of 3.30 and a significance of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 which indicates that reward and punishment simultaneously affect the performance of employees at PT. Makassar Raya Motor Palopo.
