Abstract :
Based on the results of observations at MIN 4 Luwu, there were still some students whose learning outcomes for kicking a ball using the inside of the foot in football still below the KKM. Due to the low ability of students to kick the ball using the inside of the foot, therefore the researcher aimed to improve the ability to kick the ball using the inside of the foot in football using the discovery learning model. This research applied classroom action research (CAR) in order to improve learning process. Data collection consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of direct tests in the field starting from skills, attitudes, and knowledge. Based on the data for each cycle and the discussion of the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model to physical education subjects with the material of kicking a ball using the inner foot in football class V.a MIN 4 Luwu can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen by the increasing results of research in cycle I and cycle II by applying the discovery learning model to learning. Keywords: Discovery learning, Learning outcomes, Football.
