Abstract :
This study aims to: 1). To find out whether there is a contribution of waist muscle flexibility to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in Palopo City athletes, 2). To find out whether there is a contribution of arm muscle strength to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in Palopo City athletes, 3). To find out whether there is a contribution of leg muscle strength to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in Palopo City athletes, 4). This study aims to determine whether there is a joint contribution of waist muscle flexibility, arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in Palopo City athletes. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a significant contribution of waist muscle flexibility to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in rowing athletes in Palopo City by 55.0%. (2) There is a significant contribution of arm muscle strength to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in rowing athletes in Palopo City by 57.4%. (3) There is a significant contribution of leg strength to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in rowing athletes in Palopo City by 33.9%. (4) There is a jointly significant contribution of waist muscle flexibility, arm muscle strength and leg strength to the speed of rowing a dragon boat at a distance of 200 meters in rowing athletes in Palopo City by 97.2%.
