Abstract :
This research aimed investigates the impact of memorizing vocabularies habbit on VII
grade student?s speaking skills at Daarul Muttaqien Modern Islamic Boarding School
2. Recognizing vocabulary as an important component in language proficiency, this
research aims to understand how Memorizing vocabularies habit impact. students'
speaking to communicate effectively in English. This research uses qualitative
methods, with random sampling, the instrument research where observation,
interviews, and speaking test. The results showed that regularly memorizing
vocabulary as the effective ways to improve students' speaking skills. thus the related
to indicators of speaking such as self-confidence, and improving overall speaking
skills, that indicated on level 3 with scoring range 75-84 based on Brown theory.
