Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and adjustment of the elderly. The hypothesis proposed that there is a positive relationship between family support and adjustment of the elderly. The sample of this research was 50 elderly posyandu members aged 50-75 years in Plemahan Sumobito village, Jombang by using correlation technique purposive random sampling. The data collection tool used in this study was a scale of adjustment and family support. Hypothesis data analysis used is Analysis spearman?s rho. Based on the results of the analysis spearman?s rho shows that the value of sig. (1-tailed) Rho = 0, 440 with p = 0,000 (<0, 05) it can be concluded that there is a very significant positive correlation between family support and adjustment. This shows that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.
