Abstract :
Bullying is unpleasant verbal, physical, or social behavior in the real world or in cyberspace that makes someone feel uncomfortable, hurt, or depressed either by a person or a group. Group guidance is the process of providing assistance provided by individuals in group situations. Group guidance is aimed at preventing student problems and developing student potential. This study aims to examine the effect of group guidance to reduce students' bullying behavior. The research was conducted on students of class X IIS MAN 4 Jombang in the academic year 2022/2023. This study uses experimental research methods, namely quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental), The research design used was a pretest posttest design with a quantitative approach. Samples were taken as many as 6 students as a group. sample using purposive sampling technique. Data collection using the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique uses non-parametric statistics, namely the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 21 program. The results of this study indicate that group guidance has an effect on reducing student bullying. This is evidenced from the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis in the group, namely Negative ranks between reducing bullying for pretest and posttest is N 6, mean rank 3.50 and sum rank 21.00. A value of 6 indicates a decrease in the pretest and posttest scores. Where in the conclusion if this Wilcoxon test, if asymp.sig < 0,05 then the hypothesis is rejected. If probability asymp.sig > 0,05 then the hypothesis is accepted. And the results of the Wilcoxon test > 0,05 is 0,27 then the hypothesis in this test is accepted. The results of the study can be concluded that group guidance has an effect on reducing students' bullying behavior.
