Abstract :
The general aims of this study was to describe teachers management at senior high school number 1 Muara Pinang Empat Lawang District. The subjects of this research were the principal, vice principal and teachers. The data were collected by interview, observation and study documentation. Then analisys data used descriptive method. The finding of the study was that the management of teachers was conducted on the recruitment, selection, placement, compensation, performance appraisal and dismissal of a distinctive specifically. Management of teachers is an activity undertaken ranging from entry until the dismissal of teachers. In the management of these teachers found some weaknesses encountered in the application, such as there are teachers who do not teach professionals, lack of teachers who teach in accordance with the educational qualifications and discipline is lacking, there is still a difference in compensation received by the teacher.
