Abstract :
The general objective of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of students? management at Public Junior High School in Kepahiang District. This research used evaluative method. The subjects of this research were head masters, teachers, and students of Public Junior High School in Kepahiang District. The techniques of collecting data were observation, analyzing documents, and interview. The data were analyzed by quantitative technique. The result of this research showed that the students? management in Public Junior High School in Kepahiang District was effective, with 70, 00% percentage. The effective result based on the percentage of three components of students? management effectiveness, namely; (1) students? planning was quite effective with 42, 01% percentage; (2) the students? founding was very effective by reached 100% percentage.
