One of the factors that affect employee performance is the work environment factor. The
work environment is a component that refers to institutions or forces that interact directly or
indirectly according to a particular pattern. Regarding the organization or company that cannot be
separated from the organization or company's environment, the work environment or work
situation provides comfort to encourage employee performance.
This study aimed to find out how the work environment conditions at the Megamendung
Police Detective Training and Education. How is the personnel performance in the Megamendung
Police Detective Training and Education? Is there a significant influence between the work
environment on the personnel's performance in the Megamendung Police Detective Education and
Training Center?
The theory used in this study is Sedarmayanti 2001 for the work environment and using the
theory of Mangkunegara 2004 for performance. There are two dimensions to the theory of the
work environment, namely: (1) physical work environment (2) non-physical work environment,
while for the theory of performance, there are six dimensions, namely: (1) quantity of work, (2)
quality of work, (3) cooperation, (4) responsibility, (5) initiative, and (6) discipline.
The results showed the work environment variable with an average score of 3.94, categorized
as "Good," and the personnel performance variable by showing the average score of 3. 80,
categorized as "Good." With the total acquisition of the average score of the two variables, namely
3.87, which is categorized as good. There is a significant relationship between the work
environment and personnel performance; it is known that the significance value is 0.002 because
the significance value is 0.002 < less than 0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship
between the work environment variable and personnel performance.
