The Keluarga Harapan Program is one of the government's efforts in accelerating
poverty reduction. PKH has contributed to the handling of poverty and encouraged the
independence of social assistance recipients after this, referred to as Keluarga Penerima
Manfaat (KPM).
The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the Keluarga
Harapan Program (PKH) policy in improving social welfare in Megamendung District, Bogor
Regency. The theory used in this research is the Theory of Policy Implementation; according
to George Edward III (1980), there are four dimensions of policy implementation, namely: (1)
communication, (2) resources, (3) disposition, (4) bureaucratic structure.
The method used in this study is a quantitative method approach with descriptive
research methods. Analysis of the data used in this study is using the formula Weight Mean
Score. The sampling technique in this research uses the purposive sampling technique and
simple random sampling technique.
The results showed that implementing the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) policy in
improving social welfare in the Megamendung sub-district had been carried out in the
"excellent" category with a final score of 4.35. The employees of the Megamendung sub?district have carried out their duties to the maximum extent possible. Therefore, implementing
the Family Hope Program (PKH) policy is constructive for the beneficiary families (KPM).
