Liquid Soap From Different Oil Combination with Dual Alkaly. Supervised by

Soap is a surfactant that can be used with water to clean or wash something that is
available in solid or liquid form. The two main components of soap are fatty acids
and alkaly. Various types of oil can be used as the main ingredients for making
soap such as coconut oil, castor oil and soybean oil. This study aims to determine
the formulation of liquid soap using a combination of oil with dual alkaly, to
determine the physical and chemical characteristics of liquid soap and to
determine the organoleptic characteristics of liquid soap. The method used is the
hot process. Based on the results of the study, the selected formulation was the
A1B2 formulation (comparison of oil combination 70:10:20 with alkaline
combination 80:20) then the physicochemical test results showed that all
formulations were in accordance with SNI 4085:2017 liquid soap
