Abstract :
The present study aimed to find out the effectiveness or not the using of u-dictionary as media on students? vocabulary achievement at tenth grade in SMA Al-Islam Krian. For this purpose, the author question was formulated as follows: ?was there any effectiveness of using u-dictionary as media on the students vocabulary achievement at tenth grade in SMA Al-Islam Krian?? For this purpose to the question of this study, the author employed an pre-experimental research design. This case of study used a quantitative analysis. For the derivation of the data, the author took a objective test in the form of fill the blank was administed at tenth grade in SMA Al-Islam Krian. These students were took cluster random sampling. The analysis, the author used t-test formula to count the result of the data and in the data analysis, the author entered data to the table used statitistic. The results of the study found t-count (the result of t-test) was 3,053 in deviation of freedom (df)=70 by significance standard 5% (0.05) which was t-table 1,994. It could be concluded that t-count was > t table (3,053 > 1,994). Therefore, for the alternative of hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hyphothesis (H0) was rejected. It meant, if the author matched with the accepted hypothesis criteria, the hypothesis of this study would be accepted. So, the author concluded U-Dictionary was good media to be implemented in teaching vocabulary. Key word : u-dictionary, media, students? vocabulary achievement
