Abstract :
This study aims to see the measurement results of "The Contribution of Anthropometry to the Results of 60 Meter Distance Running for Beginner Athletes Age 13-15 Years Rawamangun Athletic Center Jakarta" which can be used by coaches or teachers as a reference in innovating in measuring athletes before carrying out activities. The research method used is the correlation of steps - this research adopts the research steps of Faenkel and Wallen (2008: 238). This study uses several steps to find the population, samples, data collection and analysis and conclusions. The research instrument collected in the form of data from the measurement results of the height measurement test, the weight measurement test and the results of the 60 meter sprint, to collect the data using a direct measurement test for the athletes of Rawamangun Athletic Center Jakarta. There is a significant relationship between weight and height with a sprint speed of 60 meters in athletics for athletes aged 13-15 years at Rawamangun Athletic Center. The results of the significant test calculation of the correlation coefficient of weight (X1) and height (X2) simultaneously on the results of the 60 Meter sprint running speed (Y) from the table above shows that Tcount = 38.74 is greater than Ttable = 4.47 so Ho rejected, it means that the correlation coefficient Rx?x?y = 0.94 is significant. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between weight (X?) and height (X?) together with the 60 Meter sprint results in the 60 Meter sprint athletic sport.
