Abstract :
Expansive soil has the characteristic of expanding if the water content increases, besides that this soil will shrink and crack on the surface as the water content decreases. Indonesia is an area with a tropical climate with very dominant rainy and dry seasons, thus affecting the characteristics of widely distributed clay soils.
