Through Playing Strategies in Physical Education Lessons in Class II SDN Petamburan

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of locomotor basic
movement skills through playing strategies in class II SDN Petamburan 03.
Researchers planned this study using classroom action research methods.
This action research design was carried out in two cycles with the stages of
planning, implementing action, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were second
grade students of SDN Petamburan 03. Data collection techniques used test methods,
documentation methods, and questionnaires.
The results showed that through the strategy of playing the engklek game, in
the first cycle it showed that 42% or 12 students reached the criteria of completeness,
and 58% or 16 students who had not reached the criteria of completeness, and in the
second cycle showed that 82% or 23 students reached the criteria of completeness.
Because the percentage of classical completeness criteria in students exceeds
50%, this classroom action research has achieved an indicator of success. The
conclusion of this research is learning through the strategy of playing the crank game
can improve basic locomotor skills in class II SDN Petamburan for the 2020/2021
academic year.
