Abstract :
This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of physical education
teachers on the prevention and treatment of sports injuries in Junior High Schools in
Depok City. This research is a descriptive research. The method used is a survey. The
data collection technique used a closed questionnaire. The population in this study
were physical education teachers at junior high schools in Depok, totaling 22 teachers
from 11 schools, which were taken using a total sampling technique. The data analysis
technique used quantitative descriptive analysis which was presented in the form of
percentages. The results showed that the level of knowledge of physical education
teachers on the prevention and treatment of sports injuries in SMP in Depok City was
in the "very poor" category of 0%, "less" of 0%, "moderate" of 0%. This means that
there are no teachers who have the ability, moderate, less and very less towards the
prevention and treatment of sports injuries. Meanwhile, teachers are in the category
of "very good" (8 teachers), and "good" by 64% (14 teachers). The meaning of all
physical education in junior high schools in Depok City has a good knowledge of the
prevention and treatment of sports injuries. Thus, it can be concluded that the level of
knowledge of physical education teachers on the prevention and treatment of sports
injuries in junior high schools throughout Depok is in the "very very" category (with
an average score of 127.77 or 81%).
