Abstract :
The volume of heavy vehicles that cross causes road damage repeatedly. The planning of rigid pavement thickness on the Siliwangi road section which originally used asphalt roads based on vehicle loads with a 1.08 km rigid pavement redesign from the Pramuka road intersection to the Kemang Pratama intersection with the 2017 Bina Marga Method which aims to increase road service more optimally and pavement life longer than the previous pavement.
The results of rigid pavement planning with 40 years as the design life and the total volume of vehicles 5,871,738 pcu/hour show an annual average daily traffic of 83,377.59 commercial vehicles for the beginning of the design life in 2021 and 43.98% for the end of the design life in year 2061. The cumulative load value is 33,808,355.73 commercial vehicles. The CBR value for the Siliwangi road in Bekasi City is 2.5. The rigid pavement foundation is sub grade 2.5 and the subgrade improvement is carried out in the form of cement stabilization of 150 mm above 150 mm of the selected embankment material. The thickness of the concrete slab is 265 mm, the foundation layer of LMC (lean mix concrete) is 100 mm, the aggregate drainage layer A is 150 mm. The tie-bar connection uses BJTU-24 quality threaded rods with a diameter of 16 mm, a cross-sectional area of reinforcement per meter, a connection length of 16,218,000 mm2 and a tie-bar length of 1,362.8 mm. Plain dowel connection with a length of 450 mm and a distance between spokes of 300 mm with a diameter of 33 mm. Longitudinal reinforcement 5D10 mm ? 97.4 mm2 along 1000 mm and transverse reinforcement 4D10 mm ? 136.4 mm2 along 1000 mm.
