Abstract :
This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in science subjects for elementary school students. This can be seen from the monotonous learning process that still uses conventional models which are only dominated by the teacher by explaining the material and not being creative and innovative to students. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to apply the Example non Example model, one of the innovative learning models and in accordance with the development of elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Example non Example model to learning outcomes in science subjects for elementary school students. The research method is Scientific Writing (KTI), which identifies and assesses all findings on a research topic. Sources of data used in this study in the form of journals, research studies discuss the Example non Example model and its effect on learning outcomes of elementary school students' science. The results of the study based on the analysis of sixteen Classroom Action Research (CAR) journals, the application of the Example non Example model was very effective on learning outcomes in science subjects for elementary school students both in low class and high class. This is evidenced from the results of previous reference studies, elementary school students' science learning outcomes have increased after carrying out Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) using the Example non Example model, besides being able to improve learning outcomes this model affects the results of student activities during science learning taking place using Example non Example model, indicators of cognitive and affective learning outcomes achieved in the application of the Non Example Example model.
