Abstract :
This study aims to describe the application of the Running Dictation to the mastery of English vocabulary for elementary school students. The research was conducted by collecting data using various journals related to the required research. Based on the analysis of scientific articles in improving students' English vocabulary, it is still very low. So a learning method is needed that can improve students' English vocabulary. One of the learning methods that is considered capable of increasing students' English vocabulary is the Running Dictation. The Running Dictation is used with the aim that students are able to master English vocabulary correctly. The application of this method is carried out in pairs or small groups, and creates an interactive and active atmosphere so as to reduce student boredom. In addition, with the Running Dictation the teaching and learning process becomes more memorable because of the interesting learning activities.
