Abstract :
This research was conducted to find out how the parenting pattern of
children's Islamic religious education during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Mahkota
Indah South Tambun housing complex, Bekasi.
This research was conducted through analytical techniques from the data that
the researcher had obtained during the research activities and the researcher
explained and explained rationally, the objectives with the objectives and the existing
research problems.
The method used by researchers in this study is a qualitative approach,
namely research that produces data descriptions in the form of written and oral
explanations of the observed subjects.
The results of this study indicate that the parenting pattern applied by the
residents of the Mahkota Indah housing estate, South Tambun is a democratic
parenting pattern. Democratic parenting is a parenting pattern that is characterized by
parental recognition of their children's abilities, then children are given the
opportunity not to always depend on their parents and become independent children.
