Abstract :
The number of houses being built, the less we find a place for water absorption, therefore we make culverts to drain water from housing to rivers and lakes, even though culverts have been built, housing still experiences flooding, due to flooding. To make it more effective and efficient, we propose a tool for places that are often flooded with shipments, namely the Design and Build of water level monitoring and IoT-based sluice control, to control water from housing to the lake which will be transferred to the river, by working as a the following: sensor one (1) detects the water level of the lake and sensor two (2) detects the water level of the river, which is controlled by the microcontroller, the data will be processed, if sensor one (1) reads the water level >22 cm the motor is on for 2 seconds to open the floodgate until the sensor (1) reads the water level <19 cm the motor is on for 2 seconds to close the door , what if the sensor (2) reads the water level >25 cm, the floodgate will be closed or locked until the water recedes, and the results of the water level data on sensor one (1) and sensor (2) will be displayed on the Thinger Io web and 20x4 LCD, While the system is active, the 20x4 LCD displays the readings from the water level sensor. 20x4 LCD is used for close-range monitoring. Web thinger io is used to remotely monitor and use an internet connection. Web thinger io contains data on lake water level sensor readings and times which are displayed in graphical form with very complete and easy to understand information, and the application as long as the system is active will continuously update the data in real time
