Abstract :
The government continues to try to solve the problems of homeless people and beggars by providing social institutions, halls or orphanages as centers of social service activities for homeless people and beggars. The purpose of this study is to analyze the evaluation of the Social Rehabilitation Assistance program (ATENSI) in handling homeless people and beggars, to analyze the coordination between the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and the Bekasi City Social Service in handling homeless people and beggars, and to analyze the perceptions of homeless people and beggars related to the Social Rehabilitation Assistance program (ATENSI). Researchers examine this by using the constructivism paradigm and qualitative research methods accompanied by a case study research design. The data collection techniques include: observation, in-depth interviews, literature study, and documentation. Informant recruitment techniques used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and data coding. The results of the study stated that the evaluation of the program was in accordance with the targets planned at the beginning, the quality and quantity had gone well, the sources had gone well, there were some obstacles and obstacles experienced, still being monitored and given solutions, feedback also brought some input. Coordination has gone well, although there are parties who have received socialization and there are parties who feel they have not received socialization, the division of labor has been divided according to their roles, this program has also been implemented in accordance with existing values and principles. With this program, it brings several perceptions from the community, both in terms of absorption of stimuli, understanding, and assessments from the community.
