ABSTRACT Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi Study of Communication Science Faculty of Communications, Literature, and Language 2022 Dimas Syafiq Azcha/41182037180068 ?Daar El Salam School Issue Management Strategy During the Covid 19 Pandemic? Under the guidance Tin Hartini 108, 2, 9, 6 This study will discuss the issue of face-to-face learning that will be carried out by Daar El Salam Junior High School as the new Covid-19 Cluster. This issue arose from schools that had been surveyed by the Regional Disaster Management Agency or the Regional BNPB in terms of their health protocols, but after a survey and information on the implementation of face-to-face learning were carried out, the school actually lost a teacher as a result of Covid-19. This issue arose from the concerns of parents over their reaction to seeing that the school had lost teachers due to Covid-19 even though the school was already safe in terms of its health protocol. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy for dealing with issues carried out by SMP Daar El Salam. Where the Daar El Salam Junior High School in dealing with issues uses the issue management process model of Howard Chase and Berry Jones. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study found that SMP Daar El Salam in dealing with face-to-face learning issues uses five stages of issue management, namely issue identification, issue analysis, program design, program implementation and program evaluation. And how communication plays an important role in handling issues carried out by SMP Daar El Salam. Finally, this research is expected to be a reference for further researchers who want to research about issue management in a company or an organization.
