Abstract :
Information about work programs and local government activites is very impormation for the public to know, but sometimes information that is not in line with community expectations can lead to negative public opinion. Therefore, the role of Public Relation is very necessary, a strategy is needed in shaping public opinion in the online media of Diskominfosantik Bekasi Regency. This study aims to determine the public relation strategy ih sahping public opinion in the online media Diskominfosantik Bekasi Regency by using the theory of public relations strategy, namely publicity strategy, persuation strategy, argumentation strategy, and image strategy. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The result showed that Public Relation Diskominfosantik Bekasi Regency in forming public opinion, namely by collaborating with the mass media, creating news content according to the needs of the community, conducting campaigns that aim to invite and invite the public to vaccinate Covid-19, and follow the government appeal to comply with regulations. 5m during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing information according to data and facts to avoid hoaxes and always maintaining good communication and relationships between local governments and the community, as well as providing information about local government concerns for the environment. For futher research, it is hoped that it can be a reference for further research, both the same and different research subjects, with a more in-depth study so that new findings can be found regarding public relations strategies in shaping public opinion in the online media of Diskominfosantik Bekasi Regency.
