Abstract :
This study aims: 1) To find out how criminal law is enforced against Defamation Actors Based on Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions in the Legal Area of the Bangko District Court, 2) To find out more what are the problems faced in prosecution criminal law against perpetrators of defamation based on Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning information and electronic transactions in the legal area of the Bangko District Court: 1) How is criminal law enforcement against perpetrators of defamation based on law number 19 of 2016 concerning information and electronic transactions in Legal Territory of Bangko District Court 2) What are the Obstacles in Enforcing Criminal Law Against Defamation Actors Based on Law Number 19 of 2016 Concerning Information and Electronic Transactions in the Legal Area of Bangko District Court 1) Law enforcement officials have carried out their functions to uphold the law in accordance with norms and laws and regulations that apply in Indonesia. 2) The obstacles faced in several cases at the police station mean that some of them cannot be proven.
