Abstract :
ABSTRAK
Tanaman kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) merupakan salah satu
komoditas penting dalam industri tanaman perkebunan, mampu memberikan nilai
ekonomi sebagai sumber pendapatan devisa Negara. Meningkatnya luas areal
pupuk Eco Farming, k1 = 30 mL.L-1 air pupuk Eco Farming + 100 g kompos
limbah lumpur IPAL, k2 = 20 mL.L-1 air pupuk Eco Farming + 200 g kompos
limbah lumpur IPAL, k3 = 10 mL.L-1 air pupuk Eco Farming + 300 g kompos
limbah lumpur IPAL, k4 = 400 g kompos limbah lumpur IPAL. Variabel yang
diamati meliputi tinggi bibit (cm), pertambahan diameter bonggol (mm), pertambahan
jumlah daun (helai), bobot kering tajuk (g), bobot kering akar (g), rasio tajuk akar dan
volume akar (ml). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik
cair Eco Farming dan kompos limbah lumpur IPAL karet mampu meningkatkan
petumbuhan pada variabel tinggi bibit, bobot kering akar dan volume akar. Namun,
belum mampu meningkatkan pertambahan diameter bonggol, pertambahan jumlah
daun, bobot kering tajuk dan rasio tajuk akar. Perlakuan 10 mL.L-1 air pupuk Eco
Farming + 300 g kompos limbah lumpur IPAL memberikan rata-rata
pertumbuhan terbaik bibit kelapa sawit umur 6 bulan di pembibitan utama.
ABSTRACT
Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) is one of the important commodities in
the plantation industry, which is able to provide economic value as a source of
state revenue. The increase in the area of oil palm is also accompanied by an
increase in damaged plantations (TR/TTM). So it is necessary to rejuvenate the
plant to get quality seeds. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect
and the best dose of Eco Farming liquid organic fertilizer treatment with rubber
WWTP sludge compost on the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.)
seedlings in the main nursery. This research was conducted at the Teaching and
Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi and lasted for 3
months, starting in September-November 2022. This study used a Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments, namely: k0 = 40 mL.L-1Eco
fertilizer water Agriculture, k1 = 30 mL.L-1 Eco Farming fertilizer water + 100 g
WWTP sludge compost, k2 = 20 mL.L-1 Eco Farming fertilizer water + 200 g
WWTP sludge compost, k3 = 10 mL.L-1 Eco Farming fertilizer water + 300 g
WWTP sludge compost, k4 = 400 g WWTP sludge compost. Variables observed
included seedling height (cm), increase in tuber diameter (mm), increase in the
number of leaves (strands), shoot dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), root crown
ratio and root volume (ml). The results showed that the application of Eco
Farming liquid organic fertilizer and rubber WWTP sludge compost was able to
increase growth in the variable seedling height, root dry weight and root volume.
However, it has not been able to increase the increase in tuber diameter, increase
in the number of leaves, shoot dry weight and root crown ratio. Treatment of 10
mL.L-1 Eco Farming fertilizer water + 300 g of WWTP sludge compost gave the
best average growth of 6 month old oil palm seedlings in the main nursery.
