Abstract :
Micro and Small Business is defined as an enterprise or business run by
individuals, households or small business entities. The aim of this research is
to find out and analyze the characteristics of Micro and Small Business actors
in Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency, to find out and analyze the factors
that influence the income of Micro and Small Business actors in Siulak Mukai
District, Kerinci Regency. The research method used was quantitative
descriptive in the form of primary data obtained from distributing
questionnaires and interviews with 86 respondents and secondary data
obtained from the Kerinci Regency Cooperatives and Manpower Service.
Using multiple linear regression analysis tools and hypothesis testing using
data suitability tests in the form of normality tests, validity tests and reliability
tests assisted by SPSS version 26 analysis tools.
The results of this research explain that the characteristics of micro and
small businesses are an average age of 35 years with the majority being
women and almost all micro and small business actors being married with an
average number of dependents of 4 people. The average working hours a day is
10 hours for almost all micro business actors. small businesses do not have a
workforce, the average length of business is 6 years with strategic locations,
most businesses are in the culinary sector with an average income of Rp.
6,109,186 per month and average business capital of Rp. 8,060,465. Capital
has a significant influence on the income of micro and small business actors.
The length of business variable has a significant influence on the income of
micro and small business actors. The working hours variable also has a
significant influence on the income of micro and small businesses. The business
location variable has a significant influence on the income of micro and small
business actors.
